Submitting Assignments
Assignments must be posted on the discussion board or submitted by email by Saturday of each week unless otherwise directed by your instructor. Email assignments must reach your instructor by the indicated date. Students should not consider email assignments complete until a confirmation of receipt has been received from the instructor.

Due Dates and Deadlines
Your instructor will establish due dates and deadlines for all assignments and exams. You can find these under the “Assignments” button on the left-hand side of the class web site. NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS OR EXAMS will be accepted without prior permission of the instructor or adequate, excused documentation. If your assignment will be late and you have a reasonable excuse, email your instructor before the due date. Internet transmissions can be slow at times, and the Internet does not always send email messages immediately. All messages coming into IEP computers are dated and timed. This date/time stamp will be the official receipt for email assignments.

Proctors
All students are required to have a Proctor who serves as the University’s representative in test administration. Your Proctor should be a supervisor or boss who is willing to receive your examinations from the instructor; administer them to you as indicated; guarantee the examination was completed in a secure environment and in accordance to University’s policies; and resubmit your answers to the instructor by the deadline. When selecting your Proctor, you should identify an individual who agrees to serve in this capacity and will be available at the times of the examinations. The following information should then be submitted to JSU and your instructor: Proctor’s name, title and qualifications to serve in this role, telephone number, and email address. Your Proctor must be approved by JSU prior to the initiation of your course of study. If you have trouble identifying a proctor, please contact the IEP for assistance.
