Discussion Board

This week’s message board assignment is the following: 

1.  Give an example of a time that you have dealt with a suicidal person (preferably job related).  Did you apply any of the techniques discussed in the text or instructor notes?  Did you resolve the situation?  How would you critique your performance?   
2. Have you thought about how you would handle it if someone commits suicide while you are talking with them? How would you deal with it if it happened to a co-worker?
